The death of Alexander Micahel Icasiano of U.P. Dilliman must not be in vain
Icasiano's death must produce positive actions to stop the loss of lives through senseless hazing.
Icasiano is the victim of hazing. he died while undergoing fraternity initiation.
He was another promising young man who wanted to become part of a brotherhood. He could have become a lawyer in a couple of years. Instead, he met an untimely death of the hands whom he called as brothers.
There were many others ahead of him who suffered the same fate.
Each time a death occurs clamor is heard from different quarters.
but all the heat dies down, the issue is forgotten until the next death.
It's time to put an end to all the senseless deaths.
Hazing must be banned and now.
